Heidal Rafting is located in a beautiful natural setting in peaceful surroundings between the Sjoa river and the national parks Rondane and Jotunheimen. We offer a wide range of activities, from May to October. The base has a unique location on an old farm right by the Sjoa river. Our oldest building dates back to 1747, here is the reception and where we serve breakfast and dinner. For accommodation, we offer rooms and huts. As the only rafting company in Sjoa, we offer rooms with private bathrooms. If you prefer something simple, you can park your RV or stay in your own tent at the campsite. We also offer lavvus with access to sanitary facilities and a shared kitchen.
Rafting in Sjoa is our most popular product, but we also offer Via Ferrata, various canyon tours, climbing, riverboarding and rope activities. For larger groups, we also offer team building upon request. The base is centrally located for all our activities with a short distance to the Sjoa river and with the mountain right behind our base. In our garden, there are large green areas where you can play volleyball, climb in the climbing wall, swim, or just relax with a local beer. At Heidal Rafting, you get everything you need in one place, so you can relax and enjoy your stay.

The rapids in Sjoa are world-renowned for rafting and other water activities, and we have guests from all corners of the world visiting us every summer. Many also come back year after year. For the adventurous and experienced rafter, we are the only company offering rafting in Åmodtfallene, which is the lower part of the Sjoa river. This is Sjoa’s most challenging rafting trip with steep, technical and continuous rapids. Some prefer the mountains, and for you, we offer Via Ferrata and extreme canyoning with rappels as high as 60 meters. Water and mountains are a unique combination in Sjoa, and exclusively with Heidal Rafting, you can climb in the morning and raft into the sunset in the afternoon. In the evening, dinner and a local beer await in the hot tub.
